3. Mark the date on the calendar so you don't forget to come and get your birds. (Pickup is at Settlers Supplies between 10:30am - 5:30pm).
3. A few days prior to pickup, you will receive a reminder email. You will receive the Form 300 by email (if needed). You will need this form if you choose to process your birds.
4. On your confirmation date, come to the store between 10:30am and 5:30pm and pickup your birds. Day old birds arrive in cardboard boxes that are easily carried to your car. Ready-to-Lay birds arrive in green crates OWNED by the hatchery. Staff can help lift the crates into your car. Ask for cardboard if you need to line your vehicle - we have lots. Please note that staff cannot assist in transferring chickens from one crate into another. This policy is NEW for 2026. If you plan to transfer the chickens, please bring a helper to help you. If chickens escape during transfer by customers, it is the responsibility of the customer, not Settlers Supplies.
5. Green crates must be returned to Settlers Supplies in perfect condition within 7 days of pickup.
